I purchased Ella Fitzgerald, Newport Jazz Festival Live At Carnegie Hall on 180g vinyl following KK's review of it in the February issue. There appeared to be no problems with the recording when played on my system: a Linn LP12 with Alriva and Ekos plus a Meridian 588 preamp feeding a Bryston 7B-SST~2 power. However, when I upgraded the Meridian to the Bryston BP26 pre with MPS-2 power supply I can now hear hum on certain tracks.
