Maybe I'm one of a grumpy old minority, but I like to be able to turn on Radio 3 and hear music. I don't want to hear trailers, chit-chat, brainteaser competitions or listeners' emails being read out. It would be a waste of time to write in, only to receive an anodyne reply about all listeners' views being taken into consideration. So I have thought, instead, of writing ironically, like Defoe, and proposing The Shortest-Way With The Presenters.
