It seems as if I wrote my column for the last Yearbook just months ago, but 2016 has flown by. And writing about the last 1 2 months was the furthest thing from my mind as I spent much of this summer organising and/or clearing out my lifetime's accumulated detritus. It's like this: I'm that much closer to retirement and loath to burden my son, the heir to the Kessler debt, with tens of thousands of books, magazines and records. Worse: there isn't anything even approaching a national, let alone international hi-fi museum or resource centre to which I could bequeath 40 feet of hi-fi magazines, and 15 feet of related books. Looks like I need to speak with Jim Lesurf...
