It was a huge pleasure to meet so many HFN readers at our recent UK Hi-Fi Show Live at its new Ascot Grandstand venue. Not only was this a chance for us all to explore the jaw-dropping architecture of this iconic building (something ordinarily reserved for Ascot box holders only) but it also gave us the space to experience a series of unforgettably powerful hi-fi demos free of interference from rival brands beavering away behind thin, party walls.

The authors present, on behalf of Irish Society of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine, a position paper on changes that should be implemented to enhance the safety and quality of care for nursing home residents in Ireland.
