Changing gear

Writing my overview of 12 months of reviewing for HFN's 2018 Yearbook, I commented on the launch of the Marantz Kl-Ruby products earlier that year, and conversations I'd had with the company's Brand Ambassador, Ken Ishiwata, then celebrating his 40th anniversary with the company, about products past and future. Twelve months on, much has changed... Ishiwata and Marantz parent company Sound United parted company earlier this year and most recently he's been back at hi-fi shows demonstrating new products, but this time for long-time friend Karl-Heinz Fink. Ishiwata has used Fink Team speakers at several shows to demonstrate Marantz products and now it seems he's returning the favour.
