I was amused to read Nick Tate's review of the SweetVinyl SugarCube SC-1 record 'declicker' in the August issue. A few years back I had more sources than my amplifier had inputs for, so I picked up a secondhand Behringer DJ mixer intending to use it solely as an 'input expander'. Nevertheless, I just had to find out what all the Behringer's sound-bending features actually did. One was called 'Vinylizer' and, as you might guess, it added varying amounts of 'snap, crackle and pop' to the otherwise silent backgrounds of CD tracks. It was not a feature I used often...
