Director faces jail for fatal fall

The incident occurred during the construction of a warehouse by E2 Developments in Tutbury, Staffordshire. On 29 December 2010, Phillip Lonergan, an experienced roofer, was installing the roof. While standing on the wet roof sheet at the edge of the roof with his back to the two guardrails, he slipped and fell through a half-metre gap between the bottom guardrail and the sheet.
