Lack of survey leaves asbestos insulation board in skip

The UK subsidiary of the one of the world's largest privately owned food companies has been fined £120,000 for asbestos failures. The failures occurred in 2013 at Mizkan Euro's former Bumtwood factory in Staffordshire. The firm, which is part of the Japanese Mizkan Group, has headquarters in Chiswick, London and production sites in Lancashire and Staffordshire, where it produces food seasoning products, including Branston, Sarson's and Dufrais.
