The present invention relates to an asbestos-free insulation/heat insulation board manufactured by using a filler selected from a group consisting of barium sulfate, mica, wollastonite, perlite, silica stone and silica and a binder made of a phenol-based resin, wherein the binder is selected from organic fibers, inorganic fibers and combinations thereof. The asbestos-free insulation/heat insulation board has excellent mechanical and electric properties to be used in an industrial purpose, and there is no risk of occurrence of asbestos dust. The present invention further relates to a method for manufacturing an asbestos-free insulation/heat insulation board having excellent mechanical properties manufactured by heat drying and molding.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
