Elsevier paying it forward to Doctors Without Borders

Elsevier, publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, will donate 10 percent of its revenue from one of its key products to Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF). The program will apply to all subscriptions to MD Consult, Elsevier's electronic clinical reference tool, purchased between Nov. 15 and Dec. 31, 2010. In 2009, a similar campaign brought in more than 350 subscriptions worth over $120,000. This year's effort is part of "The Great Giveback" campaign, which provides medical assistance and support to numerous people around the world.
