FITE in full flight

Freight Intermodal Tracking in Europe 2 (FITE2) has launched what it says is a unique vehicle tracking service through the internet. Application service provider TrackNet has joined forces with First Data Focus to introduce a state-of-the-art, door-to-door intermodal tracking system. It is funded under the Pilot Action for Combined Transport (PACT) programme and supported by the EC's Directorate-General for Energy and Transport.
