Chemical production is moving closer to feedstock sources, pushing a wider range of products through the transport chain. This presents new challenges for shoreside fluid transfer systems, where a veritable spaghetti junction of equipment is now required. Much to the delight of chemical transport specialists the world over, refining is moving closer to feedstock sources, meaning that an increasing number of chemical products now need to be shifted over greater distances.
