Producing a full line of industrial packagings that encompasses steel, plastics and fibre drums, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and assorted smaller packaging, Mauser sees around 17 per cent of its output consumed by shippers of speciality chemicals, with mineral oil accounting for a further 17 per cent and general chemicals 15 per cent, revealed CEO Dr Clemens Willee at the one-day conference in Cologne. Other applications for its units include detergents, adhesives, construction chemicals, agrochemicals, dyes, automotive paints, pharmaceuticals, food industry chemicals and water treatment chemicals.
