Peacock orders from CXIC

Tank container lessor Peacock Container has purchased its firgt tanks from China-based manufacturer CXIC, a recent entrant to the tank container manufacturing field. Peacock says that the six standard, 25,000-litre tanks "have been built according to European standards with a B-style walkway and a handrail". Peacock plans to reposition the tanks to Europe. "This new builder, located in the Tianjin area, has a long history in the manufacturing of dry box containers and has bought the old Trencor design and tank factory," says Peacock.
