Trimac acquisitions boost results

Canada-headquartered tank trailer operator Trimac Transportation brought in consolidated revenue before fuel surcharges of C$75.8m in the second quarter of 2012, a 4.4 per cent increase compared to the same period of last year, according to the company's latest financial statement. The company has also completed its previously announced acquisition of Liquid Cargo Lines (LCL), a Canada-headquartered road tanker operator with a focus on chemical and asphalt transport.
