LBC builds for the future

LBC is planning a major expansion of capacity and rail handling facilities at its Baton Rouge terminal at Geismar, Louisiana. Work has already started on construction of the first two new carbon steel tanks, expected to be operational by April 2013, with another two to follow. LBC's plan envisages a total of 3m bbl (477,000 m~3) of new storage capacity, together with additional rail unloading spots, more rail storage capacity and new steaming spots.
