EI focus on process safety

The Energy Institute's (EI) process safety technical development activities are defined and co-ordinated by its Process Safety Committee (PSC) technical/safety/process-safety.PSC's role is to help the energy industry better understand and implement the principles of process safety in its operations. Most of PSC's work focuses on developing good practice knowledge and tools on issues such as installation design; fire and explosion hazards and controls; carbon capture and storage hazards and controls; hydrocarbon release reduction; process safety management systems; process plant design and operation, and risk analysis.
