The continuing global demand for oil, production revenues Stahle at a high level, and newly discovered oil reserves, especially in the offshore and deep-sea area, are boosting parts of the Dutch maritime industry. While German players primarily take care of the offshore industry's wind energy sector, Dutch specialists participate in the global boom in offshore oil production. The focus of recent activities and developments is on the coastal area of Brazil, the offshore reserves in the Gulf of Mexico, the fields of exploration off Africa's west coast with Nigeria as the center, as well as New Zealand.%Auf das erforderliche Equipment zur Offshore-Ölförderung hat sich im Großraum Rotterdam eine ganze Reihe von Betrieben eingestellt.
