Van der Valk signed the contracts for a 34-meter Explorer that will be built according to the client's most minute specifications and ideas - a fully-customised project, which is rare on this scale. The yacht will be built entirely of aluminium and designed to be barrier-free; among other things, a lift will be installed to serve all decks. The owner and five guests will sleep in three additional cabins on the lower deck; the VIP suite with its own terrace will be installed on the bridge deck. Two Seakeeper stabilisers and a Humph-ree system to ensure comfort at sea, while the extra-large aft cockpit provides entertainment in the open air. Guido de Groot, Diana Yacht Design, Ginton Naval Architects and Hull Vane are involved in the design and construction calculations. Delivery: December 2021.
