Für die Umstellung auf schwefelfreie Zentralodorierung von Erdgas in Regionalnetzen spielen wirtschaftliche, technische und ökologische Gesichtspunkte eine entscheidende Rolle. Dabei geht es aber auch um die Positionierung von Erdgas gegenüber anderen fossilen Kraft- und Brennstoffen im Wettbewerb. Der Ablauf und die Erfahrungen im Rahmen einer solchen Umstellung werden folgend am Beispiel eines Teilnetzes im Bayerischen Wald mit Hoch-, Mittel- und Niederdruckverteilung geschildert.%Changing to sulfur-free central-odorization of natural gas in regional grids is not only linked to economical, technical and environmental matters, but comprises as well the positioning of natural gas competing with other fossil fuels. The following article exemplifies the course of action and the experiences gained during the change of a grid (including high-, mid- and low-pressure gas distribution) in the "Bayerischer Wald" area, Germany.
