The 2011 NGWA Ground Water Summit and 2011 Ground Water Protection Council Spring Meeting will be held May 1 to 5, in Baltimore, Maryland-the first true East Coast venue for the event. This year's theme is "Meeting Groundwater Challenges in Uncertain Times." Economic conditions have placed enormous stresses on the resources of government, private industry, and academic and research institu- tions, which affect our ability to respond to the challenges of understanding, protecting, restoring, and managing the complexities of the nation's groundwater resources.
