Deadline for Abstracts for 2011 NGWA Ground Water Summit and 2011 Ground Water Protection Council Spring Meeting Is on November 21

Session proposals are being evaluated for the 2011 National Ground Water Association Ground Water Summit and 2011 Ground Water Protection Council Spring Meeting, which will take place from May 1 to 5 in Baltimore, Maryland. The call for abstracts was posted in mid-September. The deadline for abstract submission is November 21. This year's theme is "Meeting Groundwater Challenges in Uncertain Times." Economic conditions have placed enormous stresses on the resources of government, private industry, and academic and research institutions, which affect our ability to respond to the challenges of understanding, protecting, restoring, and managing the complexities of the nation's groundwater resources.
