Ginsburg hospitalized as her supporters offer their own ribs

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's fractured ribs are causing the left to panic.Ginsburg was hospitalized in Washington, D.C., this morning after breaking three ribs when she fell in her office last night, according to a statement issued this morning by the court. After going home and experiencing discomfort, she was admitted to the George Washington University Hospital.At 85, Ginsburg is the eldest member of the court. She has rebounded from serious health scares before, including colon cancer and pancreatic cancer. She cracked two ribs in 2012 but told Reuters that year she "thought it was nothing" and went to work the next day.Her latest health problems come after President Trump has installed two conservative appointees to the high court following deeply partisan political brawls. To be sure, many conservatives are publicly wishing her well today, but they also would welcome the chance to flip her seat from a staunch liberal to a Trump-appointed conservative. Meanwhile, throngs of her liberal supporters are increasingly alarmed about her ability to serve out the rest of Trump's term.
