Do designers employ their Macs as a further right or left arm? This question unearths a debate that has been simmering throughout the design industry for years. Technology has progressed at an incredible rate and to such an extent that the humble designer has left behind the huge art board and array of pens, graphical instruments and airbrushes for a more sophisticated environment. Today's studios are populated by super-fast, jelly coloured Macs, scanners and high resolution printers rather than the infamous cloud of Spraymount of yesteryear.
