Sensor suppliers upbeat, target 20% export growth

China sensor makers have been enjoying double-digit export growth for the past several years, driven by the low-end and midrange pressure, temperature and humidity sensor segments.rnThe industry, however, is hardly exempt from the impact of the global economic crunch. The Center forrnInformation Industry Development-Microelectronics Research Department reports that sensors suffered a 15 to 20 percent drop in shipment sales last year as the line absorbed the aftereffects of a tight market.
