It is with mixed emotions that Megan Murphy and I say goodbye to Geopolitics of Energy's long-time Editor-in-Chief, Sulayman al-Qudsi. He has decided to move on to other challenges, and we wish him well. Sulayman brought cheerfulness and a keen eye for detail to the job; we were always assured that when an article was in Sulayman's hands, it would be read thoroughly and edited with a deft touch. His experience and skill will be missed by both of us.rnHowever, Sulayman has agreed to stay on as a member of the GoE Editorial Committee, which is great news. He will still be speaking with his many friends and contacts in the world of energy to secure strong, timely, and relevant articles for the journal.
