TEACHING GEODESY (GEODESY IN CYBERSPACE)

The nature and scope of Geodesy has changed dramatically over the past four decades, as have the tools employed for teaching and computations. This paper gives a brief overview of these developments, and offers a summary of the major web-based material for the teaching of Geodesy (some of these sites themselves give very good compendia of web-based resources), as well as the main pages in use for geodetic reference and computations in Australia.
