Obwohl die Auftragslage in Berlin für Landschaftsarchitekten sehr übersichtlich ist, gibt es in der Hauptstadt zahlreiche Büros. Eine Aussteilung im Juni sollte den Berlinern das Berufsfeld und seine jungen Protagonisten näher bringen. Be Berlin - so lautet der Slogan der neuen Hauptstadtkampagne. Damit hat sich ein beachtlicher Wandel vollzogen. Noch Mitte der Neunziger lautete das Motto „Hauptstadt im Werden". Aber weiß Berlin tatsächlich schon, was es sein will? Dafür scheint die Anfang Juni von der Stadtentwicklungssenatorin Ingeborg Junge-Reiher im eigenen Haus eröffnete Ausstellung „Hauptstadt Berlin - 15 Jahre Entwicklungsmaßnahme" zu sprechen.%Although orders for planning projects in Berlin are few and far, there are many offices of landscape architects in the capital. This exhibition concerns itself with process-oriented landscape architecture and the participants are always willing to enter into dialogue and are as passionate about their profession as they are about their city.
