Where have we come from? Where are we going? How might we get there? In Seeingrnthe Future Through New Eyes, World Future Society editor Cindy Wagner presents 24 essays that explore these questions. The essay authors - a lineup of 32 consultants, engineers, researchers, and university professors, some of whom also were speakers at the Society's WorldFuture 2008 summer conference - offer their perspectives on imminent challenges to worldwide quality of life and the mind-sets necessary to navigate them.
