Pppl Director Sought

Princeton University Dean for Research AJ. Stewart Smith (smithajs@pppl.gov) is chair of a search committee for a new director for the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) to succeed current director Rob Goldston. Goldston previously announced his intention to step down after a decade of service in the position. Smith has indicated an interest in receiving suggestions of candidates for the post and "thoughts on the directions of the lab and its role in US and worldwide Fusion/Plasma Physics, the qualifications you would like to see in the new Director, and any names you would like us to consider for this exceedingly important position." He states, "This information will be held in strict confidence within the search committee."
