Tiny Probex has figured out a way to clean up the dirty business of oil recycling. Now it just has to prove it. In 1997 chemists were trying to extract metals from used industrial oil when they discovered something unusual: a chemical process to purify the oil so that it didn't turn to tar in a refinery's pipes. In fact, the stuff was clean enough to make the highest-grade motor oil for cars.
