Church Loafers

Apair of Church's shoes can take up to ten weeks to craft and is the result of more than 200 steps. Their level of quality is similar to that of custom shoes, but their price tag is only about one tenth of the $5,000 you could spend for a first-time custom order. Church's new Tunbridge loafers (above) are constructed using some of the same techniques—and in the same Northampton, England, location-the venerable cobbler first employed back in 1873.. .with some modern wrinkles.
