YURI MILNER'S FAVORITE PHYSICIST

Edward Witten. He is at the forefront of the amazing mathematical model called M-theory, which is meant to explain all elementary particles in the universe and all physical processes. It's the theory of everything. Witten was able to prove that multiple different string theories are really part of just one. This was a very deep mathematical insight. I became his admirer almost 30 years back when I first read his papers while working on my Ph.D. thesis. But in reality it's a very hard call because I like all the first nine winners of the Fundamental Physics Prize.
