Post-UT, runners managed to keep impact constant despite fatigue as they became less tolerant to shocks generated at each strike. This seems to be related to kinematic changes. As compensatory adjustments to a possible decreased muscles' capacity of impact dissipation following fatigue, males adopted a flatter pattern and increased SF contrary to females who landed with a more dorsi-flexed ankle accentuating their RFS pattern.
