Local flavors and produce took center stage during the second presidential debate, held on Oct. 7 at 5,023-student Belmont University. Managing the catering for the 280 events was the university's foodservice provider, Sodexo, led by Kyle Grover, general manager of foodservice at the account. Grover said during the four-day span of debate activities, his department served about 3,000 people, including the candidates, their respective staffs, Secret Service, the debate's moderator, Tom Brokaw, members of the national and local media, town hall participants and the Commission for Presidential Debates.
