There's a Fork in the Road at Kent State

Building a new facility within the underserved parts of campus wasn't feasible, so students at Kent State University, in Ohio, now have the choice of Fork in the Road, the campus's new food truck. Taking four months to build, the 20-foot chassis of the new Fork in the Road truck is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, digital menu screens and blue undercarriage lights for nighttime service. Kent State Executive Chef Christian Booher, who runs the truck, and his staff are using the summer to get a feel for the truck and the campus traffic. In the fall, the truck's team will serve lunch and dinner on campus and at athletic events, campus festivals and other special venues. Each day they will tweet out the truck's location. In the future, late-night and breakfast service may be added.
