Organic vs pesticides debate: still a hot potato

That old debate is back again: Team Organic Food and Team Conventional are thrashing it out for the moral high ground. On the one side we have the cynical anti-organic movement blustering that organic food is an expensive conceit for the overpaid middle classes, which will never be able to feed the world. On the other, the self-righteous pro-organicos whine that conventional farming is causing long-term damage to the planet and that – well, chemicals just aren’t very nice.
