摘要

The tropical fruit 'cocona' (Solarium ses-siliflorum Dun., Solanaceae), also known in Colombia as 'lulo amazonian' is ovally shaped, skin and pulp are of yellow to purple-red color. The plant was originally cultivated by native Indian tribes of the Ama-zonas region - the leaves and roots were used for medicinal purpose and the fruits as food.
