摘要

Endocrine disrupting nonylphenols are persistent and priority hazardous substances of the European Union Water Framework Directive. Technical nonylphenol is a very com-plex mixture of isomers and enantiomers [1]. Their presence in the environment has caused increasing concern regarding their impact on human health, because nonylphenols are ubiquitous in food [2,3], human tissue samples and blood [4-6]. In general, for endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), low-dose effects, non-monotonic dose responses, and con-certed actions were controversially discussed in recent years, including their impact on human fertility [7-10].
