Mechanised surveyance of the current track position on the basis of laser reference chords has become feasible through the introduction of the EM-SAT track survey car, which permits the accurate and absolutely simultaneous measurement of the logitudinal level and alignment of the track.%Mit dem Gleisvormeßwagen EM-SAT ist die mechanisierte Aufmessung der Gleis-Istlage auf Basis von Laserlangsehnen möglich geworden. Er erlaubt die präzise und absolut gleichzeitige millimetergenaue Vermessung von Höhe und Richtung.
