At an early age, the 'bug' set in and he has never 'recovered'. Originally from Southern California, Dennis Buehn became enthralled by the sight of Sikorsky VS-44 flying-boats and Grumman Goose amphibians engaged in the tourist trade between the mainland and Catalina Island. From these formative images a deep passion for seaplanes developed. Since 1993 Dennis has endeavoured to share his zeal for amphibians with others to provide a means of keeping the skills of flying on and off water honed.
