Faces from the Blue

How many times have you put your hands together in thanks for seeing a superb display by an historic aircraft? Via commentary and programmes, we learn some of the names of the pilots who bring us such delight and we may occasionally catch a glimpse of them at shows, but we rarely get to see them up-close. Sarah Pepper and Jon Johnston thought they'd put that to rights and raise funds for two worthy charities into the bargain. They have come up with a calendar for 2006 that puts the emphasis firmly on the pilots. Like Sarah and Jon, all of the aviators that appear in 'Faces from the Blue' have donated their time, along with the many others who have worked to make this calendar become a reality. The entire profits from the sale of the calendars will go to the charities.
