Canada Aviation Museum's storage wing opens up

In late May, a fabulous new aircraft storage facility opened to the public at the Canada Aviation Museum's historic Rockcliffe site in Ottawa, Ontario. The impressive 88, 267ft~2 (8,200m~2) structure's public debut marked the completion of the latest phase of the collection's long-term development plan. The new wing provides shelter for several large aircraft that have been stationed outside and open to the elements for many years, ensuring their long-term preservation. It replaces the storage area inside the museum's main hall, and this has freed up considerable space within that building.
