High-profile celebrations have taken place this year to mark several key anniversaries, with the first Channel crossing by Louis Bleriot and the first Apollo Moon landing certainly ranking amongst the most significant. But 2009 has also been noteworthy for other milestones, including the 75th birthday of Carl Biickers much-loved design, the Bii 131 Jungmann (Young Man).rnDespite being his first indigenously produced aircraft, the Jungmanns flying and handling characteristics assured its status as a classic almost from the very outset and today it justifiably remains revered by owners and enthusiasts alike.
