Dassault Mirage III A3-42 has arrived at Essendon, Melbourne, Australia where it is to be restored to flying condition. The work is expected to take two years.rnIts new owner, a former RAAF pilot who flew Mirages with 3 Sguadron, first saw the jet while it was in storage with Precision Aerospace at Wangaratta, Victoria. At the time, the aircraft wasrncomplete save for a drag parachute, a replacement for which has since been found.
