Classic Harvard to continue flying

North American T-6D Harvard VH-TOA, marked up as RNZAF 'NZ1014', is undergoing intensive maintenance with AirAg, at Bankstown in New South Wales, Australia. The work should ensure that the elderly, 1941-built machine continues to fly for many years. The Harvard is believed to have served with the US Navy, and later the Paraguayan and Bolivian air forces before entering civil hands in the United States as N3171K (also stencilled on the tail). It joined the Australian register in 1995. Despite its age, NZ1014 has only logged 4,878 hours.
