HS Dominie T.1 XS709 has been moved into position at the RAF Museum Cosford, in Shropshire, and is now on permanent display to visitors. The jet made its final flight into Cosford on February 11, and can now be seen outside near the museum's visitor centre. The first of its type to be made, XS709 entered RAF service on March 30,1965, and was used as a navigation training aircraft. A total of 20 Dominies were built in the 1960s to replace the Gloster Meteor NF(T).14.
