Cosford gets a Hercules

The RAF Museum Cosford, in Shropshire, took delivery of Lockheed Hercules C-130K XV202. on August 12. In the hands of 47 Squadron, the aircraft made its final flight from Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, arriving at its new home at 11.30am after a farewell XV202 was built by Lockheed in Marietta, Georgia, and was initially in service with the USAF. Acquired by the RAF in 1966, it was used as a transport and for carrying paratroopers.
