Although storms and gale-force winds battered much of the UK on Armistice Day, the sun did manage to show itself at the Newark Air Museum for a very brief spell. This resulted in a stunning double rainbow, which nicely framed Avro Vulcan B.2 XM594. Howard Heeley explains how the photo came about: "On Thursday November 11, I was at the Newark Air Museum, hosting a facilitated visit for a group of Year 3 and 4 school children from the Claypole Church of England School, Lines. The children had been doing some World War Two/ evacuation topics at the museum, and during the morning session we had all observed the two minute silence at 1 lam and despite the stormy weather they were all having a great time.
