Kiwi Harvard back on the 'gate'

Following an extensive 19-month restoration by the Air Force Museum of New Zealand, North American Harvard Mk.lla NZ1050 was recently returned to its usual position as the museum's 'gate guardian'.The aircraft was originally installed at the entrance to Royal New Zealand Air Force Base Wigram in 1973 to mark the 50th anniversary of the formation of the New Zealand Permanent Air Force, the forerunner of the RNZAF.
